Test kits
Before your visit, complete your kit paperwork, including any required insurance or payment information and patient labels. We complete only the documentation related to your blood draw.
Test-kit preparation detailsFor samples sent to a laboratory, Stumptown handles collection and any preparation, delivery, or shipping included in your service. The laboratory performs the testing and reports the results. Services that include testing during your visit are identified on their service pages.
Collection vs. processing
We collect your sample at your home, workplace, care facility, or another approved location. Depending on your order or kit, it may need preparation, temperature-controlled handling, local delivery, or shipping.
What’s included depends on the service you book. If your instructions require special handling, contact us before booking. We’ll confirm which steps we can provide and include in your service.
Your laboratory determines when results are ready. Ask your laboratory or ordering provider when to expect them.
Mobile collection is available to anyone who meets the requirements for their selected service. Visits at your location can be especially helpful for older adults, people with disabilities or mobility limitations, and people with weakened immune systems.
Children’s blood draws
Routine blood draws are available for children ages 10 and older. For a child under 10, call (971) 204-6819 to arrange a $25 vein assessment. If the assessment is favorable and the blood draw is completed during the same visit, the $25 is credited toward the collection charge.
